The Taiaha spear, steeped in Māori tribal heritage and used in fierce competition, is more than just a weapon of war – it’s a revered taonga (treasure) passed down through generations. Honoring this traditional craft, Shot commissioned master carver Whare Thompson to design an impressive Taiaha-inspired dart. The barrel features a finely laser-etched sleeve.

This Warrior dart never slips, with three distinct grip zones along its length and a soft bull nose that minimizes deflections. Take up the challenge!

Design Highlights

The Taiaha is a straight dart with three grip zones signaled by large open grooves. It has a soft bull nose that feels great against the front finger while reducing deflections. The front has two grip sections to customize finger placement. The rings are wider from the center to the tail, maximizing traction.
